Ambient Light Sensor: Service and Repair

DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS (DRL) AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Using a flat bladed tool, release the 2 retaining tabs that secure the ambient light sensor (1).
2. Disconnect the ambient light sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the ambient light sensor (1) from the I/P assembly (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector to the ambient light sensor (1).
2. Install the ambient light sensor (1) to the I/P assembly (2). Ensure that the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
