Lock Cylinder Replacement - Lift Gate

Removal Procedure





1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the endgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Service and Repair) .
3. Disconnect the 2 rods (1) from the lock cylinder.
4. Remove the 2 nuts (3) from the lock cylinder (2).
5. Remove the endgate lock cylinder (2) from the liftgate.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the endgate lock cylinder (2) to the liftgate.
2. Install the 2 nuts (3) to the lock cylinder (2).
3. Connect the 2 rods (1) to the lock cylinder (2).
4. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Service and Repair) .
5. Close the liftgate.
