Front End Discriminating Sensor Replacement - Right

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 1 .
2. Remove the front end discriminating sensor - right electrical connector (2).
3. Remove the front end discriminating sensor - right fasteners (3).
4. Remove the front end discriminating sensor (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the front end discriminating sensor (1).
2. Install the front end discriminating sensor - right fasteners (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

3. Install the front end discriminating sensor - right electrical connector (2).
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 1.
