Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement- Rear

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the electrical connector (2) fronts the connector retaining clip (3).
2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (2).
3. Remove the wheel speed sensor retaining bolt and remove the wheel speed sensor (1) from the differential cover.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the wheel speed sensor (1) to the differential cover. Secure with 1 bolt.
- Tighten the rear wheel speed sensor bolt to 10 Nm (88.5 inch lbs.).
2. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (2).
3. Install the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (2) into the connector retaining clip (3).
4. Perform Diagnostic System Check - ABS.
