Windshield Washer Hose: Service and Repair



Hose Replacement - Windshield Washer







Removal Procedure
1. Open the hood.
2. Place a container underneath the washer solvent container (2).
3. Reach between the front bumper fascia assembly and the washer solvent container (2) and disconnect the washer solvent hose (1) from the washer pump assembly (3).
4. Allow the washer solvent to drain from the washer solvent container (2).







5. Remove the washer hose (1) from behind the fuse panel, and unclip (4) the hose adjacent to the hood strut (2).
6. Separate the washer hoses from the washer nozzles (3).

7. Remove the hood insulator.
8. Remove the washer hose (1) from the vehicle.








Installation Procedure
1. Position the washer hose (1) to the vehicle.
2. Route the washer hose pump end down alongside the right front inner fender and into the right front inner fender area.
3. Connect the washer hose to the washer nozzles (3).
4. Install the washer hose (1) to the clip (4).
5. Install the hood insulator.







6. Connect the washer hose (1) to the washer pump assembly (3).
7. Refill the washer solvent container (2) with washer solvent.
8. Close the hood.
