REAR COMPARTMENT LID SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove enough of the door trim panel to access the retainer tabs for the rear compartment release switch (2).
2. Depress the rear compartment release switch retainer tabs.
3. Push the rear compartment release switch (2) out of the door trim panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the rear compartment release switch (2).
5. With a flat-bladed tool remove the rear compartment release switch (2) from the bezel (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the rear compartment release switch (2) to the bezel (1).
Press the switch (2) into the bezel (1) until retainer tabs are secured.
2. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the rear compartment release switch (2).
3. Align the rear compartment release switch (2) to the opening in the door trim panel.
4. Press the rear compartment release switch (2) into the door trim panel until retainer tabs are secured.
5. Install the door trim panel to the inner door panel.
