Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement (Pontiac)

Removal Procedure




1. Apply the park brake.
2. Position the gear selector to the Neutral position.
3. Release the front floor console transmission shift opening trim plate seal, using a small flat-bladed tool.




4. Remove the front floor console trim plate seal by rotating 90 degrees and guiding it over the shift handle.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the front floor console trim plate seal over the gear selector knob sliding down and rotating 90 degrees.




2. Install the front floor console trim plate seal. Make sure the seal is fully seated.
3. Reposition the gear selector to the Park position.
4. Release the park brake.
