Lock Cylinder Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the rear compartment lid.
2. Disconnect the rear compartment lock cylinder electrical connector.




3. Disconnect the lock rod (3) from the lock rod retainer (2).
4. Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the lock cylinder retainer (1) from the lock cylinder.




5. Remove the lock cylinder from the rear compartment lid.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the lock cylinder to the rear compartment lid.




2. Install the lock cylinder retainer (1) to the lock cylinder.
3. Connect the lock rod (3) to the lock rod retainer (2).




4. Connect the rear compartment lock cylinder electrical connector.
5. Close the rear compartment lid.
