Electronic Brake Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV).





2. Remove 4 bolts (1) from the electronic brake control module (EBCM).
3. Remove the EBCM (2) from the BPMV (3).

Installation Procedure





1. Align and install the EBCM (2) to the brake pressure modulator valve (3).





2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Secure the EBCM with 4 bolts in the sequence shown.
Tighten the EBCM bolts to 2 Nm (17 inch lbs.), then to 3 Nm (26.5 inch lbs.).
3. Install the BPMV.
