Seat Adjuster Replacement - Front



SEAT ADJUSTER REPLACEMENT - FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the front seat outer trim panel.
2. Remove the front seat.




3. Disconnect the front seat cushion cover flap J-clip (1).




4. Disconnect the passenger presence detector wiring connector (1).
5. Detach the seat belt pretensioner wiring harness (2) from the seat cushion frame.




6. Remove four seat adjuster retaining nuts (1).
7. Remove the seat adjuster.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the seat adjuster to the seat cushion.




2. Install 4 seat adjuster retaining nuts (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the seat adjuster retaining nuts to 27.5 N.m (20 lb ft).




3. Attach the seat belt pretensioner wiring harness (2) to the seat cushion frame.
4. Connect the passenger presence detector wiring connector (1).




5. Disconnect the front seat cushion cover flap J-clip (1).
6. Install the front seat.
7. Install the front seat outer trim panel.
