Front Seat Back Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Restraint System Service Precautions.

1. Remove the lumbar knob, if equipped.




2. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact module trim (1).




3. Starting at the top of the seat back panel, remove the push-in retainers by pulling the panel from the seat back frame.
4. Remove the seat back panel from the seat back frame by pulling straight up to release the lower hooks.
5. Remove the seat back panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the seat back panel to the seat back frame.
2. Engage the lower hooks to the seat frame.
3. Push at the top of the seat back panel to install the push-in retainers to the frame.
4. Install the lumbar knob, if equipped.




5. Install the inflatable restraint side impact module trim (1).
