Front Seat Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat belt anchor nut.




2. Use a flat-bladed tool to carefully release the retainer from the base of the recliner handle.
3. Remove the recliner handle.
4. Remove the screws (1) from the front seat trim panel.
5. Position the front seat trim panel away from the seat.




6. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connectors to the power seat switch (2) and lumbar switch (3).
7. Remove the front seat trim panel from the front seat.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the front seat trim panel to the front seat.
2. Connect the electrical connectors to the power seat switch (2) and lumbar switch (3).






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the trim panel screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

4. Install the retainer to the base of the recliner handle.
5. Install the recliner handle.
6. Install the seat belt anchor nut.

Tighten the nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
