Power Window Switch: Service and Repair



REAR SIDE DOOR WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. IMPORTANT: When removing a power window switch, the ignition switch must be in the OFF position. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting out the switch when using a metal tool to remove the power window switch from the wiring harness.

Remove the rear door trim panel.




2. Using a small, flat-bladed tool, remove the power window switch from the rear door trim panel.
3. Remove the switch from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the power window switch in the rear door bezel.
2. Install the rear door trim panel.
