WIPER ARM PRESSURE CHECK

1. Remove the wiper blades from the wiper arms.
2. Attach a scale to the end of the wiper arm and measure the force required to lift the wiper arm to the following dimensions:
- Driver side wiper arm 37.3 mm (1.5 in) off of the windshield.
- Passenger side wiper arm 10.5 mm (0.4 in) off of the windshield.
3. Replace the wiper arm if the measurement is not within the specification.

8-10 N (29-36 ozf)

4. Install the wiper blades on the wiper arms.
