Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the manual transmission shift knob, if equipped.
2. Remove the center A/C control knob (3).
3. Remove the screw (1).
4. Using a taped flat-bladed tool, gently pry and release the retaining clips which secure the front floor console trim plate (2) to the front floor console assembly.
5. Disconnect the following components:

* The 2 cigar lighter electrical connectors
* The accessory power receptacle electrical connectors

6. Remove the cigar lighter assembly, if necessary.
7. Remove the accessory power receptacle, if necessary.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the accessory power receptacle, if removed.
2. Install the cigar lighter assembly, if removed.
3. Connect the following components:

* The 2 cigar lighter electrical connectors
* The accessory power receptacle electrical connectors

4. Install the front floor console trim plate (2) to the front floor console assembly. Ensure that the retaining clips are fully engaged.
5. Install the center screw (1).
6. Install the center A/C control knob (3).
7. Install the manual transmission shift knob, if equipped.
