Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the lift gate.




2. Remove the trim panel lock cover (1).
3. Remove the service hole trim cover (2) from the liftgate trim panel (4).
4. Use J 38778 to disengage the fasteners from the trim panel.
5. Remove the trim panel (4) from the liftgate (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the trim panel (4) to the lift gate (3).
2. Install the service hole trim cover (2) to the liftgate trim panel (4).
3. Install the trim panel lock cover (1) to the lift gate (3).
4. Close the lift gate.
