Front Side Door Lock Replacement



FRONT SIDE DOOR LOCK REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door inside handle.
2. Disconnect the power door lock actuator electrical connector (3), if equipped.
3. Remove the following components from the door (1):
- The 3 screws (4)
- The door lock (5) with the cables (2) attached.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the door lock (5) to the door (1).

2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Secure the door lock with the 3 screws (4).

Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (43 lb in).

3. Connect the power door lock actuator electrical connector (3), if equipped.
4. Install the front door inside handle.
