Rear Door Lock Replacement

REAR DOOR LOCK REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the rear inside door handle.
2. Pull the water deflector far enough away to gain access to the door lock.
3. Disconnect the power door lock actuator electrical connector (3), if equipped.
4. Remove the following components from the door (1):
- The 3 screws (4)
- The door lock (5) with the cables (2) attached.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note.




Install the rear door lock (5) to the door (1). Secure the door lock with the 3 screws (4).

Tighten the door lock screws to 5 N.m (43 lb in).

2. Connect the power door lock actuator electrical connector (3), if equipped.
3. Reposition the water deflector (3) to the door.
4. Install the rear inside door handle.
