Power Door Lock Switch: Service and Repair



POWER DOOR LOCK SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. If removing the passenger side power lock switch,use a taped flat bladed tool, gently pry the front side door accessory switch mounting plate (2) from the front side door trim (1).




2. Disconnect the front side door lock switch electrical connector (3).




3. Remove the front side door lock switch (1) from the mounting plate (3) by releasing the tabs (5).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the front side door lock switch (1) into the mounting plate (3). Ensure that the retaining tabs (5) are completely engaged.




2. Connect the front side door lock switch electrical connector (3).




3. Install the front side door accessory switch mounting plate (1) to the front side door trim (2).
