Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure





Important: The wheel speed sensor is serviceable only as an assembly. Do NOT attempt to service the sensor harness pigtail.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the wheel speed sensor.
2. Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.




3. Remove the wheel speed sensor from the rear axle hub.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

1. Install the wheel speed sensor to rear wheel hub.
2. Install the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.




3. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (6).
4. Perform Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle. Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
