Dimmer Switch: Service and Repair



INSTRUMENT PANEL DIMMER SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the left I/P accessory trim plate.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
3. Using a taped flat bladed tool, gently pry and release the clips around the dimmer switch (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the dimmer switch (3) to the power mirror switch/dimmer switch plate (2).
2. Connect the dimmer/switch electrical connector (2).
3. Install the left I/P accessory trim plate.
