Inflatable Restraint Roof Rail Module Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Restraint System Service Precautions.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.




2. Remove the headliner.
3. Remove the roof rail module electrical connector.
4. Remove the roof rail module clip (2).
5. Remove the 6 roof rail module screws (3).
6. Remove the 3 roof rail module bolts (4).
7. Remove the roof rail module (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the roof rail module (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the roof rail module bolts (4) in sequence shown.

Tighten the roof rail module mounting bolts to 9.8 N.m (7 lb ft).

3. Install the 6 roof rail module screws (3).
4. Install the roof rail module clip (2).
5. Install the roof rail module electrical connector.
6. Install the headliner.
7. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
