Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure




1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the front end sensor - left electrical connector (3).
3. Remove the front end sensor - left fasteners (2).
4. Remove the front end sensor (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front end sensor (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the front end sensor - left fasteners (2).

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Install the front end sensor - left electrical connector (3).
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
