Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement

FRONT SIDE DOOR WINDOW BELT OUTER SEALING STRIP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the outside rearview mirror.
2. Completely lower the window.
3. Position aside the front door weatherstrip to gain access to the outer sealing strip plastic retainer.
4. Remove the outer sealing strip plastic retainer (1).




5. Gently pry the outer sealing strip (1) from the door using a taped flat bladed tool.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the outer sealing strip (1) to the door. Secure the sealing strip with the plastic retainer.
2. Reposition the front door weatherstrip to its original position.
3. Raise the window.
4. Install the outside rearview mirror.
