Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the engine oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Disconnect the engine oil pressure sensor electrical connector (2).




3. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

1. Install the engine oil pressure sensor.

Tighten the sensor to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).





2. Connect the engine oil pressure sensor electrical connector (2).
3. Install the engine oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement (Service and Repair) .
