Door Window Adjustment

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) or Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .




Caution: Refer to Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Caution (Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Caution) .
Caution: Refer to Express Window Down Caution (Service Precautions) .
3. Loosen the window regulator to window glass retaining bolts (1).
4. Start the vehicle to make sure maximum power to the window motor. This is required to fully seat the window for adjustment.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

5. Raise the window to the full up position.

Tighten the window clamp nuts to 8 N-m (71 lb in).

6. Inspect for correct window operation and a tight seal.
7. Shut off the vehicle.
8. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) or Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
9. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
