Backup Light Bulb: Service and Repair



License Lamp/Backup Lamp Bulb Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Open the rear compartment.
2. If replacing the licence lamp bulbs, preform the following steps:

* Remove the licence lamp bulb/sockets (2) by rotating the sockets counterclockwise.
* Pull the license lamp bulbs from the sockets.

3. If replacing the backup lamp bulbs, preform the following steps:

* Remove the backup lamp bulb/sockets (1) by rotating counterclockwise.
* Pull the backup lamp bulbs from the sockets.




Installation Procedure





1. If the licence lamp bulbs were removed, preform the following steps:

* Press the license lamp bulbs into the sockets.
* Install the licence lamp bulb/sockets (2) by rotating the sockets clockwise.

2. If the backup lamp bulbs were removed, preform the following steps:

* Press the backup lamp bulbs (1) into the sockets.
* Install the backup lamp bulb/sockets by rotating clockwise.

3. Close the rear compartment.
