Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Battery Disconnect Warning).
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front bumper. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Hatchback) (Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Hatchback))Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Notchback) (Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Notchback)).
3. Disconnect the ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor from the bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the ambient air temperature sensor into its bracket.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the front bumper. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Hatchback) (Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Hatchback))Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Notchback) (Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Notchback))
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
