Automatic A/C Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Battery Disconnect Warning).
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the heater core cover. Refer to Heater Core Replacement (Hatchback) (Heater Core Replacement (Hatchback))Heater Core Replacement (Notchback) (Heater Core Replacement (Notchback)).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the sensor retaining screws.
5. Remove the sensor from the heater core pipe.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the sensor with the retaining screws and tighten.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the heater core cover. Refer to Heater Core Replacement (Hatchback) (Heater Core Replacement (Hatchback))Heater Core Replacement (Notchback) (Heater Core Replacement (Notchback)).
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
