Input Speed Sensor Inspection




1. Measure the resistance of each input speed sensor between terminals.




2. If the resistance value is not between the minimum and maximum resistance plot lines, then measure the sensor resistance at 20°C (68°F).
Important: The resistance of the sensor can become infinity ohm when the resistance measurement is made at high temperatures.

3. If both resistance measurements are not between the minimum and maximum resistance plot lines, replace the input speed sensor.
