Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement

Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LNJ) (3.4L)

Removal Procedure




1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 GE 47716 Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ GE 47716 Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ Static Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 Static Fill) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp from the engine.
3. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the engine.




4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
5. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp from the radiator.
6. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
2. Install the radiator outlet hose clamp to the radiator.
3. Lower the vehicle.




4. Install the radiator outlet hose to the engine.
5. Install the radiator outlet hose clamp to the engine.
6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 GE 47716 Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ GE 47716 Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ Static Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 Static Fill) (Service and Repair).
