Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Halogen Bulb Warning (Service Precautions).
1. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Without GT) (Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Without GT))Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (With GT) (Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (With GT)).




2. Remove the bolts (1).
3. Remove the screw (2).
4. Disengage the clamp.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. Remove headlamp assembly from vehicle.




7. Remove the highbeam bulb, if necessary by turning counter clockwise.




8. Remove the lowbeam bulb, if necessary by turning counter clockwise.
9. Remove the turn signal lamp bulb, if necessary. Refer to Parking and Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement (Service and Repair).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the turn signal lamp bulb to the headlamp, if removed. Refer to Parking and Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Install the lowbeam bulb, if removed by turning clock wise.




3. Install the highbeam bulb, if removed by turning clock wise.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

4. Position the headlamp assembly to the vehicle.
5. Connect the electrical connectors.
6. Engage the clamp.
7. Install the screw 2 and tighten to 5.4 Nm (48 lb in).
8. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 5.4 Nm (48 lb in).
9. Install the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Without GT) (Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Without GT))Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (With GT) (Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (With GT)).
10. Aim the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Aiming (Adjustments).
11. Close the hood.
