Steering Angle Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the supplemental inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Coil Replacement (Removal and Replacement).




2. Disengage the 6 claws and the 2 pins (1, 2).
3. Remove the steering angle sensor from the coil.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the 2 pins (1, 2).
2. Install the steering angle sensor to the coil. Engage the 6 claws.
3. Install the supplemental inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Coil Replacement (Removal and Replacement).
