Accumulator Piston Installation




1. Coat the new O-rings (1, 2) with ATF WS and install them to the direct clutch accumulator piston.




2. Install the spring and direct clutch accumulator piston.

* Spring - direct clutch
* Free length/outer diameter - 17.20-66.90 mm (0.677-2.633 in)




3. Coat the new O-rings (1, 2) with ATF WS and install them to the 5th clutch accumulator piston.




4. Install the spring and 5th clutch accumulator piston.

* Spring - 5th clutch
* Free length/outer diameter - 18.70-87.30 mm (0.736-3.437 in)
* Color - orange




5. Coat the new O-rings (1, 2) with ATF WS and install them to the 2nd clutch accumulator piston.




6. Install the spring and 2nd clutch accumulator piston.

* Spring - 2nd clutch
* Free length/outer diameter - 15.50-66.90 mm (0.610-2.633 in)
* Color - white




7. Install the spring and the exhaust valve (1) to the transmission case.




8. Install a new fluid passage gasket to the transmission case.




9. Coat a new transmission case fluid passage gasket (1) with ATF WS, and install it to the transmission case.




10. Coat a new transmission case fluid passage gasket (1) with ATF WS, and install it to the transmission case.
