Control Valve Body Installation




1. Coat a new O-ring (1) with ATF WS, and install it into the transmission wire harness.




2. Insert the transmission wire harness to the transmission case.




3. Install the transmission wire harness (1) with the bolt and tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb in).
4. Align the groove of the manual valve with the pin of the manual valve lever.




5. Temporarily install the valve body with the bolts (1, 2, 3, 4). Refer to Transmission General Specifications (Transmission General Specifications)




6. Temporarily install the manual shaft detent spring (1) and detent spring plate (3) with the bolts (2, 4). Refer to Transmission General Specifications (Transmission General Specifications)
7. Check that the manual valve lever is in contact with the center of the roller at the tip of the detent spring.
8. Tighten the bolts to 11 Nm (97 lb in).




9. Connect the solenoid connectors (1-5).
10. Install the ATF temperature sensor (6) with the lock plate and bolt. Tighten the bolt to 11 Nm (97 lb in).
