Output Gear Assembly Removal




1. Secure the output gear with the parking lock pawl.




2. Using a chisel (1) and a hammer, release the lock nut washer.




3. Using a wrench and socket (1), remove the nut and lock nut washer.




4. Using a press (1), remove the output gear assembly from the transmission case.




5. Install bolts to the output gear.

* Bolt (M6) Length - 40 to 80 mm (1.57 to 3.15 in)
* Bolt (M6) Pitch - 1.0 mm (0.04 in)

6. Rotate the bolts and remove the output gear and output gear bearings outer races.
7. Remove the output gear radial ball bearings from the transmission case.
