Exhaust Gas Recirculation Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) pipe bolt and carefully pull the pipe assembly back.
2. Remove the EGR pipe assembly bolts from the exhaust manifold.
3. Remove the EGR pipe.

Installation Procedure

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the EGR pipe to the exhaust manifold.

Tighten the EGR pipe bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

2. Install the EGR pipe to the EGR valve.
3. Install the EGR pipe bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).
