Front End Sheet Metal Support Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the hood secondary catch and primary latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the input air temperature sensor (2) connector from the center support (1).
3. Remove the upper fascia plastic retainer from the top of the center support.




4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 2 bolts
* The center support (2)

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution)

1. Install the center support (2) to the vehicle. Secure the support with the 2 bolts and tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb in).




2. Install the input air temperature sensor (2) connector to the center support (1).
3. Install the hood secondary catch and primary latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the upper fascia plastic retainer to the top of the center support.
