Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement (FWD)

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the wheel speed sensor.
2. Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (All Wheel Drive) (Service and Repair)Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (GT) (Service and Repair)Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (Except All Wheel Drive and GT) (Service and Repair).




3. Remove the wheel speed sensor from the rear axle hub.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the wheel speed sensor to rear wheel hub.
2. Install the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (All Wheel Drive) (Service and Repair)Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (GT) (Service and Repair)Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (Except All Wheel Drive and GT) (Service and Repair).




3. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (6).
4. Perform Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle (Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle).
