J-39194-C - Oxygen Sensor Wrench

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.




2. Remove the grommet (1) and pull the sensor connector out of the cabin through the floor panel.
3. Remove the wire harness clamp bracket and disconnect the wire harness clamp.




4. Using the J-39194-C - wrench (1), remove the heated oxygen sensor.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

Note: This torque value can be obtained by using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length (a) of 300 mm (11.81 in) and J-39194-C - wrench of 30 mm (1.18 in). This torque value is effective when the J-39194-C - wrench is parallel to the torque wrench.

1. Using the J-39194-C - wrench (1), install the heated oxygen sensor onto the front exhaust pipe and tighten.

* Tighten without the J-39194-C - wrench to 44 Nm (32 lb ft).
* Tighten with the J-39194-C - wrench to 40 Nm (30 lb ft).




2. Install the wire harness clamp bracket and connect the wire harness clamp.
3. Pass the sensor connector (1) through the floor panel and install the grommet.
4. Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
5. Inspect for exhaust gas leaks.
