Daytime Running Lamp Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure

Note: The DRL control module is located behind the instrument panel compartment.

1. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Disconnect the DRL control module electrical connector (2).
3. Remove the screw (3) which secures the DRL mounting bracket to the instrument panel.
4. Remove the DRL control module (1) with bracket from the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the DRL control module (1) with the mounting bracket attached to the instrument panel. Secure the bracket with the screw (3) and tighten to 8.0 Nm (71 lb in).
2. Connect the DRL control module electrical connector (2).
3. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Service and Repair).
