Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1), if equipped.

Note: Do not remove the temporary bolt. If the temporary bolt is removed, the rear door window regulator may fall, causing damage.

3. Loosen the temporary bolt (2), if equipped.
4. Remove the three bolts (3).
5. Remove the rear door window regulator assembly (4) from the rear door.




6. Remove the three screws (1) and the power window motor (2) from the window regulator (3), if equipped.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the three screws (1) and the power window motor (2) to the window regulator (3), if equipped. Tighten the power window motor screws to 5.4 Nm (48 lb in).




2. Apply a multipurpose grease to all lubrication and sliding points.
3. Install the rear door window regulator assembly (4) to the rear door.
4. Install the temporary bolt (2), if equipped and tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb in).
5. Remove the three bolts (3) and tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb in).
6. Connect the electrical connector (1), if equipped.
7. Install the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair).
