For engine noises that appear to originate in the vicinity of the ignition distributor, check at camshaft sprocket.
- remove bolt securing camshaft sprocket
- inspect sprocket, shaft and Woodruff key for wear. Replace worn parts as necessary
- clean out thread in end of camshaft with M10 tap and blow clean with compressed air
- install new bolt, Part No. 900 119 065 02, and torque to 45 N-m (33 ft.lbs.)
