Ignition, Basic Function

The ignition system is breakerless and is equipped with a Hall sensor. This system is not equipped with a knock sensor.

An ignition pulse amplifier is included to ensure more reliable control of ignition pulse-dependant systems, such as the fuel system and the Automatic Performance Control (APC) system.

Timing Service Instrument (TSI) socket 73 is intended for a special instrument. Ignition pulses are supplied from the amplifier to the TSI socket, tachometer and other ignition pulse-dependant systems.
