ACC Control Module Inputs

In order to make the description easy to understand Automatic Climate Control (ACC) primarily deals with year model 1995- (unless otherwise stated). In most cases, it is only pin numbers which vary between year models. All year models are of course described in detail in the chapter entitled Fault diagnosis and Adjusting/changing components.

The following pin numbers apply to year model 95.
1 Voltage from +30 (pin 22)
2 Voltage from +15 (pin 7)
3 Ground (pin 1)
4 Cabin temperature sensor (pin 33)
5 Blended-air temperature sensor (pin 32)
6 Solar sensor (pin 6)
7 Parking heater (pin 3)
8 Rheostat (pin 31)
9 Outside temperature from Electronic Display Unit (EDU) (pin 18)
10 Diagnostics communication to the ISAT scan tool (pin 12)
