The output module, mounted on a cooling fin on the left-hand wheel arch, amplifies and transforms the pulse from the distributor. From the output module, the pulse is to control the saturation and discharging of the ignition coil. The output module also controls dwell angle. See Fig. 84 for a diagram of the ignition system including the output module.
