Coolant Temperature Sensor
WARNING: Be careful when opening the expansion tank cap. Hot coolant escaping under pressure could cause serious burn injuries.
Removal
1 Open the expansion tank cap and release the pressure in the cooling system. Screw the cap back on again.
2 For B234i: Remove the upper half of the intake manifold.
3 Unplug the connector and remove the sensor.
Fitting
Fit in reverse order.
Tightening torque: 13 Nm (9.5 lb ft)
