Control ModuleDI/APC control module M89-:
The control module incorporates a microprocessor and a programmable memory (EPROM) in which basic timing and boost pressure data are stored.
The control module incorporates a self-diagnosis function which continuously monitors system operation, both on starting and when the engine is running. Any system faults detected are stored in the memory for subsequent downloading to the ISAT scan tool from which readouts can be obtained in connection with servicing or fault diagnosis.
The control module cannot be adjusted or repaired but must be replaced as a complete unit.
