Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor

To Remove





1. Disconnect the temperature sensor's cable.





2. Remove the two bolts securing the cover.

Note: Fluid will run from the gearbox.

3. Unscrew the fluid temperature sensor, plugging the hole to prevent fluid from running out.

To Fit





1. Screw the fluid temperature sensor in place.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18.5 ft. lbs.)

2. Refit the cover and tighten the bolts.
Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18.5 ft. lbs.)





3. Reconnect the fluid temperature sensor's cable.

Important: Check the fluid level after fitting. If needed, top up with Dexron III mineral based oil.
