Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair




Removing







1 Remove the ACC control module, see Electronic Climate Control Module/Service and Repair/Control Module, ACC.
2 Press in the buttons beside the cabin temperature sensor and remove the cover over the sensor using your fingers.
3 Carefully release the locking tongues (top and bottom) that holds the sensor in the dashboard. Use a small screwdriver.







4 Remove the sensor by pressing in and unplug the connector.

Fitting







1 Plug in the connector.
2 Fit the cabin temperature sensor.







3 Fit the cover.
4 Fit the ACC unit, see Electronic Climate Control Module/Service and Repair/Control Module, ACC.
5 Calibrate the ACC-system by simultaneously pressing the buttons "AUTO" and "OFF".


IMPORTANT
All previous diagnostic trouble codes are erased when calibrating. Obtain readouts of stored diagnostic trouble codes before calibrating.
